Welcome to Big. Tall. Healthy. My name is Blaine and I am so glad you took time to come to this site. I wanted to start this blog to share not only the recipes that I make for myself, but also to provide a place for people like me who are working towards their health goals. My hope is that you find inspiration and ideas for how to fuel your body with nutritious food without sacrificing on the flavors. Let’s face it, coming in at 6’3″ and +250 I’m a big b***ch. And you know what, that. is. ok. This is just the place in the journey that I am at right now. We should never feel like we are failing because we look the way we do. My favorite motivational quote is “you should never judge your beginning by someone else’s middle”. That is what I hope to bring you on this blog. Every day is a new beginning and you have succeed by simply getting up and trying. That’s it. That’s all I’m going to rant about for now. For those of you who know me, emotions make me uncomfortable so….yeah.
Otherwise, my goal is to post 1 new recipe a week in addition to a post about some sort of health related topic. This may range from sharing a particularly difficult challenge that I have tackled that week, or some health and fitness related article and my thoughts about it. Feel free to read whatever you want and skip my blathering if all you want is the food.
